We are in our final week growing mustaches for kids! Together we’ve raised nearly $7,000 towards our $20,000 goal. Nice job so far! Keep the donations coming. A couple quick notes:

First, if you were at the Stache’ Dash you heard me mention a fundraising event happening tomorrow Tuesday 12/4 at Park & Oak in West Hartford. Show up between 6-10pm for food or drinks and all tips during these hours go to M4K. One of our growers (Ryan) will be guest bartending in support of M4K. Come out for a great time, support our Stache’-tender, and help fundraise for the kids!

Second, looking ahead to Friday, our Mustachio Bashio is all set for Friday 12/7 at The Tavern Downtown starting at 8pm. Get the word out, all are welcome to join. Like last year we will be downstairs.

Finally, for those of you who are new to the bash, below are the prizes awarded at the event on Friday. In red is one prize that requires some preparation if you want to participate, for the rest you just need to show up.

• Mr. Rich Uncle Pennybags Award – awarded to the biggest fundraiser
• Tom Selleck Award – awarded to the Sexiest Mustache

• Brawny Man – awarded to the winner of the foam contest
• Groucho Marx Award – awarded to the best grower in costume (live competition at the bash)
• Mark Twain Award – awarded to the (3) overall winners

Stache Dash Bar Crawl 2018

First of all, today is Giving Tuesday! Make a donation today or get someone else to make a donation to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center through Mustaches for Kids. Donations can be made through the link on the right. Help make this Giving Tuesday great for M4K!

zzSecond, it is once again time for the M4K Hartford Stache Dash this Friday! This year’s lineup is great and we hope that everyone can make for a night of drinks, laughs and raising money for a great charity. We will be collecting suggested donations of $10 both in advance and during the Dash. Advance donations can be made via this link. Throughout the night, we will also be selling long sleeve t-shirts, cozies, bottle openers and other M4K swag.

This year we will bringing back the M4K Stache Dash Raffle. During the 3^rd stop of the Dash at the Tavern Downtown we will be raffling of items that have been donated by a few very generous Hartford Area businesses who were kind enough to donate to M4K Hartford.

I wanted to remind everyone that our first check-in of this growing season tomorrow night is Game Night! We’ll meet at 6:00 at Thomas Hooker Brewery at the Colt building (address below). I’m looking forward to seeing many week-one staches and offer some toasts of encouragement.

We’ve prepared a fun minute-to-win-it style competition for those that want to participate. If you don’t know what that is take a look below at some past games. It’s a ton of fun for everyone so don’t miss it. Otherwise come join us for a beer at Hooker Brewery at the Colt building. Games will start at 6:45 with prizes to the winning team.

Join us tonight at The Tavern Downtown in Hartford at 6:00, with clean-shaven faces, ready to begin growing mustaches for kids. Come by yourself, come with friends, come with donations if you have them.
