Stache Dash Bar Crawl 2018

First of all, today is Giving Tuesday! Make a donation today or get someone else to make a donation to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center through Mustaches for Kids. Donations can be made through the link on the right. Help make this Giving Tuesday great for M4K!

zzSecond, it is once again time for the M4K Hartford Stache Dash this Friday! This year’s lineup is great and we hope that everyone can make for a night of drinks, laughs and raising money for a great charity. We will be collecting suggested donations of $10 both in advance and during the Dash. Advance donations can be made via this link. Throughout the night, we will also be selling long sleeve t-shirts, cozies, bottle openers and other M4K swag.

This year we will bringing back the M4K Stache Dash Raffle. During the 3^rd stop of the Dash at the Tavern Downtown we will be raffling of items that have been donated by a few very generous Hartford Area businesses who were kind enough to donate to M4K Hartford.

I wanted to remind everyone that our first check-in of this growing season tomorrow night is Game Night! We’ll meet at 6:00 at Thomas Hooker Brewery at the Colt building (address below). I’m looking forward to seeing many week-one staches and offer some toasts of encouragement.

We’ve prepared a fun minute-to-win-it style competition for those that want to participate. If you don’t know what that is take a look below at some past games. It’s a ton of fun for everyone so don’t miss it. Otherwise come join us for a beer at Hooker Brewery at the Colt building. Games will start at 6:45 with prizes to the winning team.

A reminder that the growing season kicks off today with Clean Shave Day!

Join us tonight at The Tavern Downtown in Hartford at 6:00, with clean-shaven faces, ready to begin growing mustaches for kids. Come by yourself, come with friends, come with donations if you have them.

We’ve also prepared a fun mustache-themed trivia for tonight! Trivia will start at 6:45. Prizes to the winning team.

We are less than 1 week away from the start of another great fundraiser for Mustaches for Kids and the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center! Announcing the 2018 Mustaches for Kids Growing Campaign!

2017 was a great fundraising year for M4K, with nearly 12 growers raising $20,000, bringing our lifetime contributions to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center to over $120,000! We’re about to kick-off the 11^th Annual M4KHarford Growing Season (YEAH!), here are the essentials:

…then you know it’s time for your yearly dose of Mustaches for Kids. We are pleased to announce the 10^th Annual Mustaches for Kids Growing Campaign. Last year, you, our group of devoted mustachees, raised $18,000 for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center through 20 dedicated growers and support from countless mustache enthusiasts. In 2017 we have expectations of eclipsing our 2016 fundraising total through more growers, more mustaches, and more loyal supporters.

Consider this your official call-to-’stache, a rallying cry for those dormant whiskers and that sense of charity and righteousness within us all!

Many of you participated last year, and I’m sure your collective upper lips have been tingling with anticipation. For others who are new to this mustache growing thing, just check out a brief summary of Who We Are. You too can benefit Connecticut’s children through mustache greatness.

Growers: the impact we make and money we raise is directly proportionally to how many sweet, sexy mustaches are seen growing around Hartford. Register your upper lip today! Tell your friends, they’ll be jealous and want to join as well.

Enthusiasts: Remember, the Mustache is more in the heart than on the face. As a stache enthusiast, we need you to get out the word, support your fellow growers in their brave endeavor, and help raise/contribute money for the kids.
